Ya I know. Look at my HTPC, it's one of them. But only because I got it for free from my school because I helped them with their IT needs and upgraded it for very cheap.

 

But I think a C2D is too slow for even an old guy.

Go balls to the wall with it and give him everything you can. 7700k delid, custom loop, 64gb DDR4, $500 mobo, 1080ti, Vive or Oculus rift. Show him what a computer can really do. I'm joking of course.
