It's about 2x the speed of the 960 , and has double the vram . It's up to you really and the games you play. If all you play is CSGO and LOL , then the 960 will serve you very well.

if you want to know the truth I'd wait for vega then decide. Your 960 runs pretty much anything 1080p medium/high and that 580 would do 1080p ultra 60+fps. If thats enough for you to want it, then get it

Absolutely. The 1060 and 480/580 are about 80 - 90% faster than the 960. You'll be essentially doubling your performance.
