I'm looking to upgrade my Asus G20 With either a GTX 1050 ti or a RX 480 also I need to know if I need to buy another external power supply. The following are my thoughts I personally am looking for a blower style card as space is cramped

Assuming you have something on a similar level when you bought it (a lower-midrange to midrange card), then you shouldn't need another power supply.
