Liquid cooling solutions for AM3+ and AM4

Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my CPU cooler. I currently have a FX-8320 and I'm planning to use a compatible high performance liquid cooler for overclocking. Also, I'm planning to build a new RYZEN PC, use the same cooler for the new socket and also saving costs.

Any recommendations?

H100i v2 or 110i or 115i?

 

Kraken series would work too but they generally cost more than corsair coolers for similar performance, you just get RGB.

I agree, but I also think they look a TONNE better!

Yeah ik they look super sick but sometimes you don't have $30 extra to pay for looks :P

Second this. I used an H115i in a friend's build (currently an Athlon X4) and she has no problems right now with core temps. I don't think they're yet being distributed with the AM4+ brackets, so you may have a small additional expense when you move over to Ryzen. If you do buy one of these, go to Corsair's website and just order the bracket right away so you're not waiting for it when you decide to upgrade, if the one you receive doesn't already have it that is.
