The options you have aren't even comparable to each other. The Huntkey unit and the Corsair AX1500i are in completely different leagues, let alone price.

If you are looking at PSUs in the 500w range, then the AX1500i is not the best buy / bang for buck. Out of the other options, I would get for the Corsair CX550M, as that is the most modern design of the bunch.

This is correct, but make sure it's the GREY labeled CXM from corsair. The green ones suck.

Right... then I don't understand why the Corsair AX1500i was an option in the first place.

Get the Corsair CX550M.

Ugh, I don't even want to explain this at this point in time anymore. I give up. The green-label ones were OK if you put them in the right system. Earlier revisions of them had low temperature tolerances and thus were not everyone's favorite, especially if put in a system with a very hot GPU in a hot climate. That said, they're not terrible.

huntkey 580w

EVGA 500B

Corsair AX1500i

Corsair CX600M

SeaSonic S12II 520W

can anyone help with choosing im kinda not sure which one is best bang for buck thanks in advance

Why are the EVGA 500B and AX1500i in the same context? One is ten times the price of the other...

For the system you spec'd out I would suggest the S12 or CX550M.

Yeah I didn't know that, generally just going through what I've heard others say.

I know better now, I'll keep this in mind the next time I see this coming up.

I don't think it's a good choice for this particular build either way. :)

A CX600M would be fine for an RX470.

Also you can distinguish what sort of color-label the PSU has by the wattage advertised. Grey is 450/550/650/750/850, green is 430/500/600/750/850. The 750W and 850W are fairly similar between both series too.

Hey that's good to know!

So you suggest the green labeled CX600M will be alright for the build?

I guess I'll have to rethink a bit.
