Hell guys. First of all, sorry for my English.

I have the following setup : 3 X Asus ROG Swift PG279Q and 2 X Asus Strix 1080TI. I am running at SLI so i am able to connect my monitors only at my first GPU.

My problem is, I want to run all of my monitors at 165hz and i am able to do that only at DP. The problem is that the Asus Strix has only two (2) DP and 2 HDMI. I searched all the web and i cant find anything that belongs to me.

Maybe i want a cable from DP to HDMI? Maybe i want an adaptor? I cant find what i need and i hope that you can help me guys.

Thanks in advance and again, sorry for my english

You can attach the DP to any of the cards. It doesn't have to be the first only.

Did you check what ports you can use on the cards for SLI? @App4that or @Mick Naughty might know more than I.

ive never had any luck with having displays plugged into the second card with sli enabled. fairly sure you need to disable sli for that to work. i have 2 msi 1080tis and 4 monitors.

that being said id try to get an adapter like you said and convert it over to either dvi if your card has it or hdmi.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882850080&cm_re=dp_to_hdmi-_-82-850-080-_-Product

just get an entire new cable

may not sound like a decent solution since you will need to wait a few more day but these should be just fine.

i cannot say tho since ive never had to go from dp to hdmi. its all a digital signal so it should be just fine

i would not trust them little dongle things

it snot the cable you need to worry about... its the port. hdmi ports on the the 1080tis... at leas tthe msi ones i have are all 2.0 and can do at min 4k@60fps that being said the card and the monitors have the correct plugs and its just a cable. your not going from a digital signal to analog so it all should be just fine.
