How good is the GTX 710

If you want to get a GPU, get some cheap 750ti or something used. Or a rx460 or the upcoming rx550 (though I shouldn't be recommending something that isn't out yet. Just keep an eye out for it.)

This is so funny, I was going to suggest a 550 ti for $25-$35 usd. Perfect for e-sports, lite gaming, and watching vids. 710 is sooooo bad. I can't even find one to buy they are so bad.

everyone has already said it, but i will too. the GT710 is utterly worthless for gaming. good luck running anything other than minimum settings 720p with it.

please don't, GT730 is bare minimum for 768p gaming but i highly suggest find a 2nd hand HD7850/R7-265/GTX660.

A 710 is a dx 11 supported display adapter, a refreshed GT 210, something to prevent dust from entering your PCIe slot. That's it. For games, even the integrated graphics that comes with your CPU does better, as long as it is less than 3 years old. For eSports, only broken GPUs do worse.

Yep, on a server board with no integrated graphics. You have to back literally over 10 years to find a worse card. (I am not joking, it is that bad),

I don't understand why everybody hates the GT cards tbh. I ran an EVGA GT640 OC for the longest time and was able to run CSGO if I didn't max out everything. And I got over 70FPS most of the time.

But anyways, if you have a big case, a high wattage PSU, or some money in your pocket, no the 710 is not worth it. A 660 or a 550, maybe even a 650 would do you way better. Or if you want to save up, and if you plan on keeping the computer for a while, get an RX460 2GB, or a GTX 1050.

 herman , it will run CSGO though won't it. And It also would make a good graphics card for video streaming right

You could run minecraft on it. Even my 6yrs old gt440 beats gt710. If you're not willing to spend too much on a graphics card, you could find a good used one.
