47c is fine but if you think that is too high replace the thermal paste.

Seems a little high for idle, I'd apply the paste and remount making sure the backplate is is properly mounted.  What are your load temps?

Probably not mounted probably. Take the cooler out and clean those thermal pastes off of the CPU and the cooler and put in the thermal paste pea sized on top of the CPU then mount the cooler according to the manual. Tons of videos out there to help you out.

nope. For a 280 rad, it should be 40 or something depends on the ambient temperature of the room.

I think he should consider remounting the cooler. For a 4790k with OC'ed, it would survive without any problem. But again, yeah. H110i should give him low temps.

Is it pushing or pulling the air? If they're pushing the air, then you're in trouble. It's pushing all the heat to CPU if that's the case.

bro, that is indeed the cooler. the big thing that's mounted with fans are called radiator. You should take out the cooler (on the cpu) clean the thermal paste and mount it. You should take out the radiator and the fans can be arranged at the bottom side of the radiator and it should push the air out of the case. Refer YouTube videos.

Make sure ur pump is on cpu fan header 1 as my h110 pump only runs on the cpu fan header1 and it's what corsair recomend.

make sure the back plate is on right on the back of the board and try reapplying thermal paste

my cpu idles at 21 degrees and its clocked at 1.33 4.8 right now
