How many watts should a power supply be for this build?

BodiXDDD

750-850w. Why dual 480s though? That's a waste of money and power.. and get a H110i GT.

idk

850W should be good.

However that build is extremely stupid in terms of part choice and should not be purchased under any circumstances.

Some questions..

Why two 480s? I'd get a more powerful, single GPU.

Why two optical drives? You'll probably never use either of them..

You'll need a 750w PSU at least.

I used to be quite active here.

about 550-600W will do i guess let people who know better judge. Why don't you go with a 1070 instead of CF ?

This system doesnt make much sense, whats your budget and uses? Ram should not cost more than your CPU :/

Correct Single GPU with mid range B350 mobo he can even get a 1080 or smth, About the memory selected people arround here are talking about issues with Ryzen this model gets killed. (Select ones from QVL to get your warranty in check.)

If you wanna use a amd GPU you should wait for vega and if you have to have the computer now just buy a single 480 and sell it when vega is out

I would recommend a 1070, or gross out a little more for a 1080 instead of crossfire 480's.

Although crossfire 480's can technically yield more frames per second than a single 1070, multi-gpu setups have always been a little sketchy and you might be dissapointed when you find that not all games can take advantage of the two GPU's or utilize it poorly and performance is not as well as expected.

Go at least 100W over the recommended Wattage.

... no.

Those always either overestimate, or underestimate. I just put in this build and got.. 475w? Sure, but good luck finding a 550w PSU with two 8-pin PCI-E cables.  (you probably could if you tried but whatevER)

PC Part Picker already calculated 509W for this config.

650W should be plenty. But whatever you get, double-check to make sure the PSU comes with enough PCIe cables for the cards you're adding.

Not sure how many watts should the PSU should have. Help pls

What even is this build that I'm looking at here..?

Why two optical drives?

The case already comes with pretty much all the fans I would think you would need so don't buy a ton more

Why a pretty lame 480GB SSD and a hybrid storage drive? Why not a better 489-512GB drive and a standard 2 TB mechanical drive?

Do you need 32GB of RAM? 16GB is still way more than most people need.

An 850W is a little much unless you plan on SLI-ing 1080 Tis and I'd personally use a 1000W PSU if I were to go through with doing that.

Here's an improved build:
