1060 with an extra 8gb stick or just a 1070 for $40 more?

JJVGaming

So recently I have been gifted with $400, and I am kind of stuck. I could either go for another stick of ddr3 8gb and a 1060  (480 maybe), or I could simply just stick with 8gb of system ram and go for a 1070. I know the obvious choice would probthe 1070, but I'm only gaming at 1080 60hz :S honestly either of the three video cards would be A LOT better than my current 750 ti, but I would like to make the most with my money. Any opinions would be appreciated! BTW I also already have a 750w on hand so dont mind the logysis power supply in my build atm :)

just a brief summary of my build i will be upgrading:

gtx 750 ti

i5 4590

8gb of ram

Games I will be playing:

GTA v

BF1

COD AW

Overwatch

Mass Effect

For Honor, etc

750w of what brand/model?

Are you in North America?

I'd say wait, 1070 dips below $400 at times.

@JJVGaming Extra RAM only helps if you are already using all of your RAM (if you are using most of it you might want to consider getting more for future proofing). I don't how much of you current RAM you are using but you can check in Task Manager. Otherwise I would just get the 1070 probably.

yes I live in the US. I maybe be using either this sentey branded 725w psu or a 850w bq from evga (both I have at hand). The evga is already in a build so it will kind of a pain in the ass to take out but I assume that would be better. I saw that zotac btw and thats why I am even considering this...

I forgot to mention in the post but I usually alt tab between gaming and youtube and sometimes i can see ram usage go to 99%, but recently ive been just using my phone while youtubing and gaming instead.

Okay I just so saw horror stories on Amazon wth people having stuff fry so nevermind that sentey XD. My dad's old pc used the sentey but after taking it apart i assumed it would work cause of the marketed 725w rating, but I think that might be false.
