if i oc a ryzen will it void the warranty?

It won't void the warranty, unless they can prove you pumped like 5 volts into it.

when you tell them that u did overclock then it will void your warrenty.

Officialy warrenty rules of AMD, Intel or Nvidea also says that damage caused by overclocked isn't covered by warrenty.

They can't tell you did overclock when you can reset bios to default before you handle part in for warrenty request.

say the mobo is bricked and i want to return it can they somehow check the bios

or you can still short the pins and it will reset

The cmos chip will lose the data when you remove all power (cmos battery) just keep the battery removed for lets say a night to be safe.
