What does "other snappchatters" mean on snapchat?

On one of my stories, when I look at who viewed the picture, there is "my friends" and "other snapchatters". What does "other snapchatters" mean?

people who aren't your friends?

alright i have this person who i follow on snapchat, but when looking at who viewed my story, the guy didn't show under the "my friends" section but he instead showed under "other snapchatters". This is confusing af.

Confusing how? You've got your friends on snapchat and others. If the guy isn't your friend then he's just another snapchatter.

Beats me bro, I don't use snapchat. I don't know how snapchat works but maybe there's an option to keep your profile private so only friends can see your stuff.

friend = you snap a lot with them (on your best friends list or something)

other snapcrappers = people you dont talk to

Your friends are people that you added, and they've added you back, or vice versa 

 

Other snapchatters are people that either: have added you but you didn't add them back, or have people that are friends with you and have had your friends share your story with them. 

Those other snapchatters are able to see your story because your privacy setting is set as "everybody can see my story"
