EVGA GTX 1070 HYBRID OR EVGA GTX 1080 FTW ACX 3.0?

I need some help with a decision. I bought a gtx 1070 hybrid about 3 months ago for 450 dollars, recently i found a guy selling an 1080 FTW for 430 dollars. I am using a 165hz 1440p monitor and would like to be able to take advantage of more FPS but i cant decide if i should sell my liquid cooled card and move to air. Also i saw that the ACX 3.0 cards were over heating and thats why they made the new FTW2 ICX versions. Any thoughts?
