Anyone know if this monitor is legit?

I have a hard time believing its a 24 inch 1440P display since I haven't seen any anywhere before...

The page also mentioned some kind of virtual 4K so i assume it has a scaler that can accept a 4K signal but i don't see the point if it's only a 1440p panel. maybe its 1080p who knows but the price is nice.

It's probably legit. Qnix is one of the cheap Korean brands that people sometimes go on about. They're generally decent but I have heard it's luck of the draw with dead pixels. Same with backlight bleed. That's one of the reasons they won't accept backlight bleed or dead pixels as grounds for a return.

There's not many of them but they are around.

For example:

Asus VX24AH

Dell P2416D

Dell S2417DG

BenQ BL2420PT

AOC AG241QG

There's also the Dell U2515H which is 25", but it's such a good monitor I thought I'd mention it.

QNIX monitors are legit, and Dream-Seller is one of the more popular ebay sellers of them.

That said, it's possible you'd end up with a dead pixel or two on it, and since it's not the pixel perfect version, getting a replacement would be much harder.

This one is a little more expensive and pixel perfect: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Perfect-QNIX-QHD2410R-MULTI-24-LED-WQHD-2560-x-1440-DVI-Matte-Monitor/221993585873?_trksid=p2047675.c100623.m-1&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D41376%26meid%3Dce273aa5d678473983213d161d398e70%26pid%3D100623%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D321974691365 (0-3 dead pixels possible, only bright dots are considered as dead pixels)

Yea I'll gladly pay the extra for the pixel perfect version. This exact monitor seems to be uncommon and it's hard to find user reviews on it tho.

Yeah, there's a lot of different models that are all very similar, like some will have more ports, some will have better stands, smaller bezels, etc... And since they're not one of the popular brands, not a ton of people buy them, so not a lot of reviews will be out there.

If you're going to pay for the pixel perfect one you might as well go with a better known brand with a better panel. They're not a great deal more.
