Hey everybody,

For those of you who are running an Aorous (Gigabyte) Z270 Gaming 5, are you having any issues with your fans and pumps ramping up and down for no good reason at idle?  I have most of my fans running into a fan hub and then into the motherboard.  My aio is connected to the CPU fan header/AIO header.  What seems to be occurring is when the machine is at idle, the fans will suddenly ramp all the way up along with the AIO pump and then settle back down.  This seems to occur every few minutes.  From what I am seeing in Easytune/Core Temp/MSI Afterburner, all of the CPU core temperatures look good at idle.  They are typically 32-35C and go up into the 60's under load.  I have a 7700K clocked at 4.7 and my memory manually set to its 2666 as the board kept defaulting to 2433.

Any insight would be helpful.  I suspect I am doing something wrong either in bios or through a piece of Gigabyte Software, but I can't seem to put my finger on it.

Thank you.
