Why is my v position and h position grayed out on my XB240H?

Before i throw this down the stairs and give up complely can someone tell me why i can not adjust this? This is because I have four thick black lines across my screen and it just needs scaling. However, the NVIDIA control panel has not helped one bit as i have tried everything under the son to remove these damn awful lines.

Those are only available when using VGA, because only analog connections have alignment issues like the ones those tools will solve.

Are you talking about a black border around the screen?

In the NVIDIA control panel, under Adjust Size and Position, are you set to Maintain Aspect Ratio, with "Perform Scaling on GPU" selected?

Try going to the "size" tab on the same page in the NVIDIA control panel and using the adjustment options there.

And can you take a picture showing the problem?
