Laptop HDD to PC HDD

So recently my laptop windows got a corrupted file. I wonder if I can take out the harddrive and plug it into my pc to replace the corrupted file. I dont have any backup on that laptop. I got some importanr files in there too. Is there anyway to connect it to my pc to replace those file ? 

Note: my laptop is unable to turn on and I have no recoery disc
