Need a new laptop charger

So uhm I lost my laptop charger

Don't ask why. This is not the thread of asking stupid mistakes I've made in my life. It's not about me, it's about my laptop.

 

The laptop I have is this

Again don't ask why I have this underpowered piece of HP shit

 

 

I have 3 options to consider

1. The obvious, look up charger for this laptop

 

2. The less obvious but more hassle way

I happen to have a universal laptop charger I bought few years ago

Except the model name is APA31US not APA31CA (region differences obviously but I bought it in Canada smh)

Well time to use it then? I lost the plug/tip of it.

I did find them on ebay. Though I would want forum help before making mistakes

Just put in the model found on the bottom followed by the words "laptop charger" on Amazon (NOT EBAY). And order one with 4+ stars. Do not risk us sing a universal charger if you care about your lap top.

I'd have to pay ~30 CAD

and none of the one I searched for has a single rating on amazon

plus Targus is quite large, it's not like some off brand chinese company

Just get a used OEM adapter

 

As long as its rated for use on an HP and has the same tip, as well as the same or greater wattage, I'm 99% sure it will work.

 

Shitty laptops are less picky.

And by that I know that other laptop charger would be compatible with my laptop

 

So it gave me this result which seems to be fucking more confusing as hell

 

As the H1/H2 tip was not listed anywhere

 

I will try to contact Targus but it's 1AM now lol
