Hello!

I have an i5 4460 with stock cooling... Just thought is time to get a new cooling system for my baby. So, what do you guys recommend?

The stock cooling is starting to get noisy, though it works fine (46 celsicus normally)

Also, I'll be buying a new GPU soon, maybe the RX470. I have a GT 610, yes I know, it is a piece of... But it came installed with the computer and I did not bother to remove it

Thanks!

The Deepcool Gammaxx400 is a very cheap and great chip. I put it on the build I did for my in-laws with a 4690k not overclocked and when running full Aida64 it kept CPU temps at about 55c after an hour.

I seconed this too. I also happen to have an i5 4460. Was looking for a new cpu cooler to replace the stock ones but then scraped that idea off because my gpu is loud so it won't help lol

I also have the 4460 and when I replaced my case I switched my cooling to the Hyper 212 Evo. It has worked very well with it. I purchased it on sale for 25 usd after instant rebate.

I have not... No idea how to do that, I'm starting to learn about this stuff

It will be a setting in your BIOS. It will say something like "fan curve," "fan profile," or "fan target" depending on what manufacturer you have.

What header is your cpu fan plugged into?
