What is a good $150 and under pair of headphones by Sennheiser?

I've been wanting a really great pair of Sennheiser headphones for a long time.  Well I finally got around $150 saved up and I just can't decided which pair to get.  The main purpose for them is gaming with music listening on the side.

 

I keep looking at this pair of cans, but then I look around some more and I keep eyeing this pair too.  And then I see these and then I can't make up my mind.

 

I've been using a pair of HyperX Cloud for over a year, and it finally fell apart when one part broke 3 months ago.

 

Can ya'll provide any input?

For gaming the 598 are probably your best bet. Have you listenend to all of these yet? I wouldn't simply buy stuff fore reviews and looks anymore at that pricepoint. Trust me I have done that before :/

Is buying multiple from amazon and seding the ones you don't like back an option? If so I would do that. Generally the 598 should be better soundstage wise than the 598s becsaue the regulars are open back. I have never heard of a gaming perspective comment about the M50X and never listenend to those either. I hav elistenend to the Senheiser 598 for a few minutes but I personally didn't like them.

I hadn't thought of that.  I think I will do that and send back the ones I don't want.
