Which area of tech do you expertise the most in?

For me it would have to be peripherals, to be more accurate gaming mice. I just did a lot of research about em so I know a lot and I know a lot about what makes a mouse good/bad.

Probably motherboards. Some people (for whatever reason) think they need the most expensive MSI or RoG motherboard out there to do any good overclocking.

Well I've been working on networking for the last few months, I'd say that at a pretty decent if not quite yet professional level. Anything else I consider myself an interested amateur, I know a good deal about a lot of things but I'm no authority.

I guess I know "a lot" bout GPUs, CPUs, and RAM, "a little" about Motherboards, PSUs, and HDDs/SSDs, and nothing about Cases and peripherals.

Some niche areas, like I seem to have this abnormal ability to visualize airflow in a case and "how things should be" including cable management, but I'm also damn good at thermal paste jobs and general rig specs creating builds that fit a budget well with parts that will match each other and give the best value.

I also have a big b***s**t meter, so when people have a thread on "900D case fan placement" unlike most that will say "have all fans as intakes for positive pressure" or "air in the front and out the back" ill usually be the one to point out....airflow...in a case with a volume of 113 liters (24.8imp gallons), it's not going to matter much...nothings going to be suffocating in there and any airFLOW will be small.

also those who put fans blowing air out of the top of the case because "otherwise dust comes in and settles on the graphics card"...well dont buy a case with top vents then, if you want a top radiator you can always get the dremel out later but the hot air rises thing is true but in cases where you have fans and airflow its largely irrelevant.

same with noctua fanboys, theyre good fans but theyre not the best, theres been plenty of tests including by linus where other fans have performed the better and noctuas are purely on-par, its a general case of "tell people something and if enough people believe it more will just assume its true".

yeah i could go on a rant, theres plenty of this.

that said while most say "graphics cards" and "motherboards" and so on theres a difference between knowing about what they do and how they work, just because you know how to overclock on a board doesnt mean you should do it on a 4+1 power phase, just because you know what graphics card is equal to what or how many stream processors it has doesnt mean you know how it works and what importance something like memory bandwidth has.
