Believe My SSD is dying, What do you guys think?

RWT98

Hey LTT,

Let me start by saying the some of the problems I've been having have been occurring for almost a year. Do I Think They are all related? No, but I do think my SSD is part of the issue.

(Note: SSD only holds OS, and a couple games I play on steam.)

I'm not here to tell you what I think though, I'm here to hear what you guys think and to seek help to fix my problems.

Problems that have been occurring for about a year

  • When booting PC, it will get stuck on motherboard screen. If I hit the restart button it will restart just fine and go to login screen. (once in about a month it will boot without needing to hit the restart button).
  • Sometimes the PC will freeze, requiring me to "hard kill" it (by holding down power button). Sometimes after doing this, the PC will power back up as if there is a little ghost in my room playing games with me.

Recent occurring problems

  • Programs have start to not respond, more often than they should.
  • Notifications from action center don't go away till restart.
  • problems.PNG
  • No longer can open action center

Now with the info gave, what are somethings I can do to get to the bottom of this?

  •

Thanks for the help that will be coming my way shortly. If I left anything important out please let me know.

you could start by using crystal disk info or other monitoring softwares for see if there's any issues with the disk

your issue makes me suspect your bios more tbh

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

crystal disk reads that both drives are good. 100%.

Now what?

tried running in safemode to see if any of the issues still persists?

or try re-installing windows if that's an option
