CPU : i5-7600k

MoBo : MSI Z270 Pro Carbon

Ram : 2x8 GB Corsair Vengeance Led 3000 MHz.

CPU Cooler : Coolermaster Hyper 212 Led

Since im new to overclocking what should I do ? I only did increase the memory freq to 3000 MHz from 2133 from bios but I do also want to overclock my cpu. How should I do it?

well your RAM is rated for 3000mhz, so it should be able to hit that mark no problem. you can go higher but overclocking RAM is a bit trickier than the CPU.

the kaby lake CPUs can overclock quite easily, likely over 4.5ghz. you can use the auto-overclock functions if your mobo supports it, but manual OC is always the way to go. and also, even though kaby CPUs can OC easily, i would still keep a watch on temps and test the OC for stability.

It probably supports it an if i use auto-oc function will i set the speed or it will set it self ?

the auto-overclock will set the overclock to whatever you choose. when you reboot it'll try to apply the OC it thinks it can successfully boot into the OS. so you don't have to mess with voltage, BCLK, etc.

Auto OC functions will set it by itself. You just have to click a button or two! @rea66

Thanks ^^.
