1080 ti - dvi monitor - question.

Hello. Question. I have BENQ 2250 monitor with only DVI . If i buy non reference 1080 ti they will add an adaptor to plug or i must change monitor ?

I know that 1080 ti dont have DVI plug. Thanks.

i think msi added a dvi port with theirs,BUT there are many cheap displayport to dvi adapters out there

Buy the Titan XP, it is a 1080ti with a DVI port, seems that's premium feature now

 

Jokes aside, you could just get a displayport to dvi-d adapter.

Yes they will, this is common sense otherwise they will lose a ton of potential buyers just because they didn't add a 2euro adapter. By they way there will be ton of gpu manufactures that will release the 1080ti with dvi=d port so You don't need to worry.

I use DVI-D still, could not use it but only had a DVI cable at hand and it does it job so why not? besides people saying that it was a good thing nVidia killed the port are stupid in my opinion, no offenses meant, they took a feature out, the card literally just lost something with zero gains, no other port added, it still is a dual slot card, cooling is unchanged, there literally was no gain for losing the DVI native port so it can only be a loss.

Why on earth are you getting a 1080Ti to use with that monitor? It's a total waste, unless you plan on upgrading within the next year to something with a much higher resolution.

Why would you use a 1080ti for 1080p 60Hz? You would likely be better off getting a 1080 and upgrading the monitor to at least a higher refresh rate IPS panel.

Just maxing out everything for the sake of testing + recording

All the issues are resolved now with a simple DDU. I hope.

 

Well, I did try to earn some money that way. But I mean you only need a minimum GTX 1080 or maybe 1070 if fps below 60 a bit doesn't bother you.
