I need a good sales pitch maybe I can talk her out of this

Tell her you married her for more than her good looks and that choosing a computer is the same way. Make sure you have a gift if it back fires.

i5 6600k @ 4.4ghz on Hyper 212 Evo

Powercolor RX 480 8Gb Red Devil @1330Mhz

Bottom line:  Don't be a spaz or an 800lb gorilla when installing your expensive CPU, and you won't have any problems. --Phate.exe

Yea for most people getting an all-in-one is all about aesthetics. The problem with them I see is that not only are they usually under-powered, they are also difficult to upgrade components.  So it's almost like you're getting the difficulty to upgrade aspect of a laptop WITHOUT the portability feature of a laptop.  It's a lose/lose

Get her the iMac lest it be held against you until the day you die.

Seriously it's not your PC, I assume you will very rarely use it. And if she goes with your recommendation and that goes wrong, then you are in the shit. Explain the reasoning behind your recommendation, and let her make her own mind up.

Yeah, show here some of the nice tempered glass cases and things like that, she might not think the Imac is such hot shit then.

Guy's there are reason's why people buy AIO's. They are much more portable then a normal desktop PC. And they don't take up so much room as a normal desktop PC. I have to say AIO here.

macs are gold standards of design especially laptops, design on a MacBook pro looks modern and sleek without trying ugly "games look". The case will give more clean and modern look.

Nah, it's fine. You just can't update it until you know it won't break something.

You should just get her the iMac, it sounds like you're not going to be using it, and while I don't own an iMac, I'd choose my Macbook Air over my PC laptop any day. And while I personally wouldn't choose an iMac over my current PC, if I was forced to use an all in one I would choose the iMac.
