Use those eyes of yours next time. ;)

I just consider it economy shipping times. If you bought it, you own it, its launched. Whether you have it yet or not.

well i'm running 3200 MHz on Skylake and the Z170-A board i bought was $140 at the time... If i'm buying 8 cores at 4 GHz each, i want faster memory than BARELY over DDR4 spec.

Memory speed at that point makes little difference in anything.

GPU: XFX RX 7900 XTX

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D

i've been getting conflicting information on this. several sources say it doesn't make a pinch of difference, others say faster ram makes for better I/O for multi-task, higher minimums for framerate, etc.

Linus did a whole video on it. It makes absolutely no difference. 2666 from 1600 makes the every so little difference. 3400 from 2666 I doubt is anything more then a frame at tops.

one of the videos i saw, specifically on 3200 vs 2133, was that the minimum frame rate for CPU intensive games was a LOT more than just a frame or two. it was in the teens improvement. be that as it may, why does Linus use Dominator ram so heavily in his builds if he does not believe that it provides any significant boost to productivity?

In an expected turn of events, Altex has removed the Ryzen CPUs from search results. Links to the products still work though
