AMD Ryzen packaging pictured-very clean

Djole123

Soon after the CPU leak, we also have a packaging leak.

AMD-Ryzen-CPU-packaging.jpg

This further confirms that Ryzen will come with a bigass heatsink.

There's not much else to say, it's really nice and clean. I like it.

I know its just a paint swirl, but even the logo was simplistic yet attractive.

That's some secksy paint swirls. lol

Now I'm just imagining that some designer was told to figure out a good Ryzen logo and just spent 10 minutes to make a multi colored paint swirl :D. Though, yeah it does lit af.

The only size comparison i see is that the CPU windows can only be so big. so even if it a smaller cpu. Its a pretty hefty box. but your still right, simple cardboard insulation can add a few inches. ez

So almost the same as all current AMD CPUs with a wraith cooler? Noice (in terms of size, not design)

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

It's nice, but i don't shop in store nowadays. IMO. Better cheap out on the packaging and give oem like box. I won't need the cooler too. I'd rather pay less for my cpu. I do understand why the first iteration of the cpu ships with the cooler though.

Same man. Tbh I think that's what it is. Probably saves space to get rid of the plastic "Window" and allows for cheaper bulk shipping costs too. A stick would still show it off.

I wouldn't be surprised if they bundled an AIO with some of the SKUs, they did it with the FX Refresh.

It's just a render though, if that is supposed to represent the cpu maybe the real product will have a window with a view o the cpu there.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

AMD and Intel have always had a window on their CPU packaging to show off the CPU in the box
