Need a cheap SSD for turbo m.2

Hosharvey

I'm building a system but don't have the money to spend loads on a SSD. I have a standard HDD that I will use for everything but I need a SSD for my OS. My motherboard is a B250M Pro-VDH from MSI and contains a turbo m.2 drive.

Thanks.

Budget? I would get a SATA SSD because M.2 nvme drives are very pricey.

just because it is M.2, doesn't mean it is NVME. Just about very cheap M.2 drive runs at SATA III speeds

So will it work? Because I might as well use the slot.
