Coil Whine?

Idk

It's never sounded that way before (not that i know what coil whine sounds like

I'm worried that the PSU is weak or something

My old gpu didn't need any extra power

Describe the sound, "weird" doesnt say much.

Its like a scratching sound

imagine scratching 2 rocks together

something like that

It only starts to let out those noises when I turn on a game like overwatch

So nothing like this?

Fishy indeed, can you open the side panel and try to find which component that is making the sound?

If its GPU i suspect it has to do with If its any fan i suspect its that the motor has gone bad, if its PSU however i would try to get it replaced soon.

Hey man upload a video of the "sound" and we can help you after that. Otherwise, it seems like you don't know what it is at all. Either that or describe the sound. Is it oscillating? Whining? Metal on Metal? Plastic? Fat? Bouyant? Water/liquid? etc.

I would try and record it but im sure that it wouldnt be audible enough for my phone / camera

And i came up with 2 conclusions already:

-Psu is being pushed over its limit and needs replacing

-Gpu coil while which ill have to live with if thats the case
