Is it a stupid idea to put cola in a WC loop?

I am curious, and NO, I will not attempt this foolish trick, but is it feasible to put cola in a watercooling loop? If so, what are benefits and/or consequences?

  • You may get a large pressure increase from the CO2 getting released.

Then the acid would react with the metal in the loop and over time, there would be leaks.

The sugar would carmelize further on the blocks where it gets heated, building up layers of caramel, resulting in worse and worse temps.

All your components would be sticky once taken out of the loop.

I would not recommend it, would cause a huge mess and eventually ruin your loop

Hope I could help!

That is stupider than using blood in a WC loop.

Not nearly as cool either.

Get yourself a tap at the bottom of the loop and and funnel in at the top of your reservoir. Just add normal water, coffee granules and when ready the milk. Hey presto! You now have a computer and a coffee machine!
