What should I do after upgrading from rx 460 to a gtx 1070?

I am wondering if there are many ways to delete the drivers. Do I uninstall them from programs & features or do I delete them manually by the folders. I am fairly new to upgrading from different graphics card companies, so any help would be appreciated. :) Latest Amd drivers were installed (17.1.1) if this helps any with the process.

Use Display Driver Uninstaller.

Yours faithfully

You recollect what went wrong because the 460 came out 2 months after the 1070

As in choosing the graphics card I only needed something that would last me a little while. I got the rx 460 for free so I can not complain, and it compares to that of a 750ti. I saved up and got a good option for a 1440p card.

You just use DDU. Display Driver Uninstaller. It removes all GPU drivers. Then clean install Nvidia Geforce drivers

Do I delete the AMD folder after I have clean uninstalled AMD drivers then used the Display Driver Uninstaller?

It should remove it for you. DDU takes care of everything

I didn't have it selected in the software so should I do it again, but this time check the box? It says not recommended dsfadfdasfadsfdsfdsfdsfsdf.PNG

I just leave everything as default. The last time I switched from Nvidia to AMD it works well for me
