How much would you pay for an Asus P9X79 WS mobo?

I've seen them go for 700$ new on eBay, the one I have has a PCIE slot that is missing, but it has a total of 5 others you can use, how much would you pay for it, when the average mobo goes for 170-250$

Correction, you've seen them POSTED for $700 on ebay. Anyone paying that money for a (now ancient) x79 board has lost it.

 

 

Now if you have a busted PCIe slot on it, I wopuldnt expect to sell that for more than like $75. MAYBE like $300 for the CPU+MOBO combo.

When in doubt, re-format.

Having bits of the board broken like you have, signals that the board may not be in the greatest of shape overall. I'd say $80 max.

Or they're a complete sucker.  Had a friend asking me "is this a good deal..." for something similar.  Needless to say, I smacked him....with my truck.
