X170 Turbo B-Clock also Xeon E3 V6 MOBOs

Is the Turbo B-Clock on the X170 boards still used? The newest BIOS states "Support 7^th generation CPU * This BIOS prohibits updating to earlier version BIOS". Is this Intel nerfing or do they just don't want an instance where the BIOS is downgraded and loses support for Kaby E3 while one is potentially installed? I was planning on building soon and want the option of a healthy BLCK OC. The X170 WS ECC is the one I'm interested in BTW http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5914#ov

 

That brings up Kaby E3 V6 Xeons and their boards.. MSI has a BIOS out that lists the new Xeons on the update for a C236 MOBO. It's a fat chance , but does anyone have any info on the new board designs? Again, Turbo B-Clock implemented? I will wait for the new CPU/Chipsets of course but Optane or OC is a hard choice if thats what will be.
