Which motherboard out of these two should I get, and for what reasons?

MSI Z270 Gaming M5

MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon

Would prefer more USB ports, better overclocking and good audio.

MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon, i think it has every features that the m5 does + it has rgb and its cheaper.

Doesn't really matter. Both will be similar.
