I have the Thermaltake theron+ and it works great has 4 built in(can be changed with the software) dpi settings and three programmable buttons 5 if you count the two used for adjusting dpi. has adjustable weight rgb and 4 different profiles you can switch between on the fly. the only problem is that it has glossy plastic and gets dirty very easily. also has bluetooth to connect to your phone and track clicks with the app.

Actually, the Redragon Centrophus M601 might be better. It's just $14 too.

Idk, tbh.....

The Thermaltake Talon uses an Avago 3050 optical sensor, Omron switches and has no added acceleration(AFAIK)....

IMO, it is worth the extra $5...

He plays DOTA 2, so I thought the extra keys on the Redragon mouse would be better as it has two more buttons than the Thermaltake Talon Blue. However, the sensor on the Thermaltake mouse is better.

Can you provide a link to the retailer that you plan on getting the mouse from?

Your best option is to get the Coolermaster Devastator Bundle and use the mouse(IMO)...

TBH its rather bad value for money atm, the Devastator II which is the one with the A3050 is a 100 Ringgit more than the G102, and the first Devastator(PAW3309) is even below Redragon tier.

Actually, the mouse is the exact same as the original Devastator, minus the CM Sotrm logo.

The G102 would be better though!

It would perform better than the other options, but for that price it makes no sense compared to the 102, which performs better than the G100S.

Idk, I read that it uses the same sensor as the Devastator 2.... Maybe later models use the AVAGO 3050?

Exactly, and the G102 performs better than the G100s, meaning that you would get more for your money with the 102.

Looks like the marketing team fd up to me(happens more often than one would think), for example A3050 doesnt even have a 800cpi step, 3509 on the other hand actually does.
