Are you serious GTX 1080?!

TonyTheNain

Edit: For anyone still reading this post, I am the owner of the computer! Everything has been proved. So just skip this part! Thank you!

Ok something is starting to piss me off right now about my GTX 1080 Xtreme gaming (Gigabyte)

Directly going to the problem: my supposedly 'beast' GPU, as everyone says about the 1080 GPUs, is not beast at all!! Mine can't even run the games when i optimize them with Geforce Experience! I already reinstalled the drivers with DDU but I have the same problem!

My config:

i7-6850k

Gtx 1080

X99 Gaming pro carbon

1200w PSU

32gb ram

Monitor: 144hz 1080p 27 inch

Anyone have a solution??

i personally believe you own neither systems and you,re just trolling around but hey that's probably just me...

EDIT: he his the owner of this formidable machine, here is the proof...so you can skip the next 2 pages of the thread

Can you provide some examples of frame rates you get in games, and the settings you run them at?

Every thing on max settings. I didn't check for FPS in Battlefield, but it's obvious that there are drops. But in GTA, the FPS are going from 100 to 50

So what is the actual problem? Games aren't running at all? or theyre just slow? What are the actual FPS numbers you get. What are you temps while experiencing these problems?

When in doubt, re-format.

From everything I have seen online, it sounds to me like your GTAV is running better than 90% of the people out there.

When in doubt, re-format.

Ok probably, but these drops are normal? It would be really weird.

Seriously, how much complaining I have seen on this forum about GTAV running like crap, the fact that youre not dropping into the 30's means that your system is running A-ok

When in doubt, re-format.

Probably. But I want an explanation of why even if i optimize the game with Geforce Experience, i have super bad results. I don't call that optimization.
