Never buying from NZXT Again

Omie

What's the deal with this company?

I order an internal USB hub from their site like 2 days ago and even pay $19 for expedited shipping (1-3 days) so I could build my pc this weekend. I check on my order today and my order is still being processed and hasn't even shipped yet?!

I talked to live chat and they said it should be shipped out today but that was several hours ago and still nothing. They tell me that processing takes 24-48 hours, seriously why the FK does it take that dam long?! Especially when I paid good money to have my product shipped within 1-3 days. My order is still under processing and I don't have a tracking number or anything yet.

Here is the real kicker: I call their customer service and try to talk to them by phone. I'm on hold for nearly 2 hours! Yeah you heard that right. My phone time clocked out at 1 hour and 54 mins call time. So did I finally get to talk to someone? OF COURSE NOT! I literally hear them pick up the phone (on-hold music cuts out) and I get hung up on instantly. Wtf?!

I should have just bought the product from Amazon, even if it was from a third party seller. I'm kicking myself in the teeth.

EDIT: Well holy shit, it looks like the gods heard me. I just got the shipping confirmation like 1 minute ago....

Maybe they are still playing catch up from the holiday season?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Even though I got my item shipped just now, the delivery date is like on Monday the 9th. So basically I ordered my item on Jan. 4 and 5 days later it's supposed to get here. $18.99 bucks for shipping down the drain. I'm seriously actually planning to call them and see if I could get a refund for the shipping charge. I paid for 1-3 days not 5.

I seriously have never heard of a company that takes 24-48 hours for processing time. It's ridiculous and laughable. I wish I would have known this before.

It's NZXT.com's fault, If you were to buy the item from Amazon or Newegg (who likely has more experience in shipping), this may not have happened.

Just want to write an update:

It turns out my product did arrive today instead of Monday which is great.

It's just really weird how they do their shipping so it caught me off guard, especially with that 24-48 hr processing time.

Overall, I just think they need to up their customer service presence (phone) a bit more and also do away with the processing time, otherwise it's a good company, just a vague website is the problem.

Shipping time starts when the courier picks up the item to bring to you.

There's always a processing time with any online order. Something to remember in the future. After all, you're not their only customer ;)

Shipping is based on business days, not days of the week.

The call center issue is unfortunate, however there's numerous factors that could have played into that, including sick staff or people unable to get to work due to snowfall.

I want to defend NZXT because I think the OP threw a shit fit like a baby girl over a silly USB hub, but orders for items in-stock fulfilled by Amazon don't take 48 hours.

I didn't have any problems ordering a case from them and asking support for some spare hardware from them. It's probably from the Christmas season, their support is pretty excellent otherwise.

I've had them take 3 or 4 days from placement of order to shipment confirmation.
