Nokia released the 150-best feature phone of 2016?

Djole123

So, 2016 was a great year, and a lot of good, fast, and explosive (#Note7) phones came out. And what a better way to finish the year without a new Nokia phone.

Let me present you the Nokia 150.

nokia_white_front-1%20copy.png

This phone costs 26$. And what do you get for that?

1. A 2.4" 320x240 display, which, on this small of a size, is actually going to be decent.

2. A nice and sturdy polycarbonate shell which is going to make this the most indestructible phone of 2016.

3. A GENUINE COPY OF SNAKE XENZIA!!!!! OMG SNAKE ON A 2.4" PHONE IST GONNA LUK BEUUUUUUTIFULL

4. DAYS worth of battery life. Yes, DAYS.

5. A headphone jack. U MAD iPHONE USERS?????

And all for only 26$. Cheaper than anything else. This is going to be a perfect Christmas gift... For your grandpa.

UPDATE: I got this phone as a review sample, and the reviewer will be my grandma. She says: "This phone is good. Gosh I hate those touchy smartphones. You hungry son? I'll get some cookies for you."

Actually this phone, like others mentioned previously in the past, will most likely not be available here, despite their most probably easy sell.

They are targeted at developing countries, and only be sold there. Hence the very low price tag.

Pitty, I'd actually want this phone. Would make a great emergency phone to have around if it lasts as long as mentioned.

It's the birth of a new benchmarking standard!

"But can it run Snake?"

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

It's probably coming here to Mexico but honestly, I can't figure out why: At 26 US this is priced at 520 Pesos when a chinese knock off but functional smartphone sells for around 800 pesos (40 bucks). So just an extra 20 gets you a camera, touch screen, full access to social networks and even some access to android apps.

Feature phones like this need to be black and white screen burners for 15 bucks tops otherwise most people won't really bother.

Only $26? I think I might get one just for shits and giggles. Never could have predicted that in the year 2016 you'd be able to purchase a brand new Nokia brick. What kind of alternate dimension is this?

-Crapbook

Fully specced out early 2013 Macbook "pro" with gt 650m and constant 105c temperature on the CPU (GPU is 80-90C) when doing anything intensive...

A 2013 laptop with a regular sized battery still has better battery life than a 2017 laptop with a massive battery! I think this is a testament to apple's ability at making laptops, or maybe how little CPU technology has improved even 4+ years later (at least, until the recent introduction of 15W 4 core CPUs). Anyway, I'm never going to get a 35W CPU laptop again unless battery technology becomes ~5x better than as it is in 2018.

Apple knows how to make proper consumer-grade laptops (they don't know how to make pro laptops though). I guess this mostly software power efficiency related, but getting a mac makes perfect sense if you want a portable/powerful laptop that can do anything you want it to with great battery life.

Can Nokia take back the Lumia line from Microsoft and resurrect the supposed successor of the Lumia 1020 but instead of the lackluster Windows Phone, it needs to run Android instead.

Very nice. If it has good battery life and decent cell reception, this could be good phone for my grandfather. He never got into touchscreens
