    • Membrane (like you actually PREFER membrane, not just that you don't have a mechanical
    • Outemu/Greetech/Other (specify in comments, 20 option limit)
    • I don't have a favorite type (never tried a mechanical)
    • Logitech Romer-G

These greetechs are not bad on the Redragon K552 KUMARA. Only thing I haven't liked about them is that my "D" has a brown feel whereas the rest of the keys feel likes blues.

I think they are good but the bump isn't noticeable enough.

Where do you live?

UK.  There aren't any shops here that let you try out proper keyboards.  They only put the cheap membrane ones on display for some reason.  Annoying, but it is what it is!

Yeah I know...it's really annoying but you basically have to read as much as possible and then cross your fingers and hope you made the right choice.  And if you think you didn't, then learn to live with it hahaha!

I voteed Razer Greens, as thats what I'm currently using, tried so many of the switches out there, started on MX Reds and didn't enjoy them, went to MX Blues on a old Razer KB and really loved them, Upgraded to Logitech ones and Hated them so much, felt like I went backwards, jumped around for a while and now on my second Blackwidow TE, only upgraded was had a older model one and got a great deal on upgrading to chroma, both Razer Greens and been loving it since, the carry case has also been a gem with all the traveling. also Love TKL Keyboards and for a while there really wasn't ANY good choice.

Know razer gets tons of hate but I've had as many Corsair Keyboards break as I've had Razer (one each :P)

Yeah I know but apparently on the new ones they moved away from Kaihl so thats why selected Razer Greens. my Old Blackwidow TE was the Kaihl ones and also really liked them.

Blues = Teamspeak might not like them, but I do :P

I realize there's no way to do this but to get good results, you would really need to make sure that people try each of the options before voting, otherwise it will probably just end up as a "what switch do you use" sort of thing :P

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I was thinking exactly that, so many comments of "I just got my first and its X, so X is the best"

I'll probably still be a person who likes blue. I love super loud keyboards and bottoming out keyboards.

  • 2 weeks later...

For me it's the MX Brown, but I can see people liking a good membrane keyboard. They're quiet. My Logtech G15 approves! :P

Meh I love my Razer keys, say what you want about razer build quality (Personally I've had more corsair keyboards break on me than razer) but there is nothing wrong with the switches they use.
