You have more control over individual lights and sections, and tons color options with a nice software. The lighting control box itself also looks really cool.

Software control. Also you can make cool patterns or have the lighting react to things like CPU temperature :)

Cold Cathode Tubes. Depending on how you use them, they can look better than LEDs. Less flexible but more even lighting.

What about an external DAC for better audio? Assuming you have a good set of headphones.

On the "uncommon" side, I love Zalman's multimeter front panel. Then again, people are switching to 5.25-less cases, so nowhere to put them...

However, for non-overclockers knowing the power draw of a component alone may not be all that useful.

Can you control it with a remote or buttons accessible without opening the case?

It seems like something I might be interested in but I'd prefer not to rely on software to turn the LEDs on/off of adjust options like brightness of color.

Does it have hardware control?

The regular old hue (not hue+) has full hardware control, but I don't know why in the world you'd want it with that budget. It also doesn't have nearly as many lighting options, but it still has the full color spectrum.
