repairing/cleaning a graphics card

I have a graphics card that has gone through a couple drink spills (orange juice and pepsi, idk if it matters or not) and im wondering if there is any way to clean it and remove the gunk that is on it. it worked fine after the spills once everything dried on it.

Wha??? I don't even... HOW DID YOU DO THAT!!!! :*(

Disassemble it, and take a moist tissue. REMEMBER, VERY LITTLE WATER. And wipe it off. Then, let it dry for at least 8 hours, reassemble it, and voila.

 couple drink spills

have you been using this thing as a coaster?

you might as well be better off disassembling, boiling in water, distilled soak and rinse, rice bath, isopropyl rinse, and afk dry for 3 days.

for some reason i thought it was a good idea to put my drinks on my mouse pad. boiling in water?

hot water rinse, because it's going to be a pain to clean soda and orange juice out of a card.

yeah, im ashamed of myself back then. would using 99% isopropyl alcohol to clean it be good? and just wipe wherever there is gunk on it, because its mainly on the back part where all the circuits and ends of the screws are.

the top has a bunch of tiny holes in it, so pretty much spilled drink, and straight into the case.

I think the isopropyl will be fine.

I did the same thing....spilled a cup of coke on the edge of my desk it poured off the side and right into the top fan of my old rig....dripped all over the video cards....I hit power quick.
