HELP ASAP! GTX 1070 CASE SCREW DOESNT FIT

I am building as we speak and it won't go in. Does it need to go in? Is it required? What do I do???

First check that the card is inserted correctly, if it is just push the metal from the case to make it fit since its only a few mm.

Without the screw(s) you will run into problems especcially during transport.

Loosen the screw until you feel it fall into place twice and then tighten. Case screws and threads aren't strong enough for brute force just like cars.

You can also try a tap-and-die set from your local hardware store.

Did you look at the "real-world" transfer? The WD Blue 1TB beat it in write performance. Doesn't matter how inexpensive the UV could be when there's the MX300 275GB, SanDisk SSD Plus, and SP550 available for better performance.
