Video or didn't happen.

If not, you're talking about G502 then. The new or old G402 doesn't have RGB.

I have my G402 for a long time and decided it's time for a clean up. Everything would be easy enough if just wiping around with a wet clot or paper towel but I want to go deeeeeper

Some parts of the mouse was hard to reach so I decided to do a proper cleaning

1. Remove all the mouse feet to reveal all the hidden screws. Be careful not to peal it half way because you will need to reuse it.

Check here if you accidentally damaged your mouse feet. It costs 3 bucks but the shipping makes it more. There are also Amazon links but not really that reputable (no reviews)

2. Remove all the screws, there are 5 of them. Please notice there is a deep down screw at the bottom.

The mouse should be easily removed then

3. I let the electronic part untouched (the PCB, connectors and stuff like that on the bottom side) and went ahead with the top

You can see a huge amount of screws in there. Take a picture so you can reassemble it again. (or use mine). Also please note for the transparent plastic that use for lighting up the Logitech logo as it is removable too

4. After that you can easily remove the bottom half of the mouse. Turn the other side and you should see more screws!

4 of them. Once those 4 are done you can remove the LMB and RMB. It is also make the side G buttons easier to look at

I would suggest keeping the mouse wheel and the G button in place because they are kinda hard to remove but with some patience and tweaking it should come to no problem removing all of them too
