Give it another hour or so, then go ahead and restart. The worst that can happen is you reinitialize it and need to start zeroing again, but after you restart, I'd recommend checking the drive's health first.

It takes an hour for every 250GB on HDD. You'll probably be at it longer than that since your drive has multiple platters and each is done separately.
