On the fence about console

Gaz3ll3

Hi everyone, so the title really explains it all. I love PC gaming a lot but a majority of friends and people i know play on a console and many times i'm playing alone on PC. I'm really considering but I really don't want to get one and it ends up collecting dust. I know this probably has been asked many times before but is this really a good reason buy a console?

Yes i know PC is more powerful, blah blah blah, but during classes and usual days i'm on my PC all the time and it gets tiring to come home and sit more at the desk. At the moment the settings i play at on my PC are good for me so i'm not to worried about performance or graphics.

Thanx guys

I bought an xbox 360 and ps3 for the same reason a while back, it's definitely worth it if you want to socialise with your friends on it.

Last console I bought was a snes, I've been pc gaming ever since (snes is still on my tv though) all my friends growing up played on pc.

If you want to game with your friends buy a console, who gives a crap about performance if you cant play with the people you want to.

Silent build - You know your pc is too loud when the deaf complain. Windows 98 gaming build, smells like beige

I'm in the same boat man. PC masterrace, but all my friends play on console. Cross platform is becoming more popular, so hopefully that solves the issue in the future. I bought an Xbox One just to play with my friends. With the new "Xbox Play Anywhere", you can buy a game on PC and play it on Xbox or vice versa. Ex. I bought Gears 4 on PC and I can play it on both PC and console(Doesn't work on all games. Relatively new feature). First gen PS4s and Xbones are getting cheaper because of their new counterparts, so it's probably worth the money to play with your friends imo.

try to borrow a console from one of your friends (ex. when they leave for holiday) and living with it. You can setup your account and try everything you need and know if it is worth your money.
