Will my 450 Watt PSU Be enough for the new Geforce GTX 750ti i'm buying ? [Specs inside]

Current PC Specs :

 

CPU : Inter Core 2 Quad Q8300 @2.50 GHz 

GPU : Nvidia Geforce 9400 GT (16 Cuda cores , 1 GB Memory)

Some 5-6 year old Intel Motherboard

500GB HDD Samsung

2 x 2GB DDR2 Memory 

1 CD-DVD Writer/reader 

PSU = Intex 450 Watt PSU

 

I'm buying the Zotac Geforce GTX 750ti Which says 400 Watts is required. Will My PSU handle it ? or is it time to upgrade , I'm just a small time budget gamer , so i'd really like to not buy a new PSU

 

I'm Using a UPS btw.

I suppose youd be fine but you should never be maxing out on wattage personally id go with a 650 its not too expensive and would be more than sufficient

With a newer gpu like a 1060 I would say no problem but depending what else you have going on with the older 750 ti you may have an issue I think it recommend 500w

The 750Ti is much more low power than the 1060. Both could run on a 350W PSU.

300 watts for a 750Ti paired with a 3770K would even be more than sufficient...

 

650 is more like... dual 970's and 5960X...

Its in my desktop laptop project. Its a picopsu style wide input range DC-DC converter about the size of a tv remote. Yes, it will run on batteries.

 

Handles aida64 cpu+gpu for hours.

Read the article. They turn off power saving features and stress only the graphics card to figure out how much power it draws.

You should be fine but instead get a RX 460 which is better for the same price and same power (some have 6-pin connectors, get one that doesn't if your PSU doesn't have a 6-pin PCI-E connector)

650 is more like... dual 970's and 5960X...

ive had a build with a 6700k and a 780ti it got to 375

I checked on amazon , it says i have to "Global import" it. and there are 3 different versions with varying prices , am confused :(

So i checked the rx 460 and it sits almost outside my budget , do you know anything about its 6 pin external power supply ?  can i use those molex to 6-pin to power it up ?

 

 

and can i use it with my old pci x16 Graphics slot ?
