Will my cooler fit in a LGA 1151 Socket?

Go to solution Solved by TaylorSwiftOrNon,

Any LGA 115X Socket has the same mounting points for coolers, if its works on LGA1156, it will also work on LGA1155,1150,1151 etc....

Heyo

So I just have a quick question about my "Cooler Master Seidon 120V CPU Cooler"
Will it fit into a motherboard with a LGA-1151 socket? I'm, thinking about the "ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING" Which has a 1151 socket

On the website I'm on it says that it supports these "LGA775 Socket, LGA1156 Socket, Socket AM2+, LGA1366 Socket, Socket AM3, LGA1155 Socket, Socket AM3+, LGA2011 Socket, Socket FM1, LGA1150 Socket"

Is there a big difference between 1151 and 1150?
The reason I'm wondering about this is because I was thinking of changing my CPU, which led to a new motherboard, ram and possibly a new cooler.

Thanks
