Aftermarket sound dampening material?

http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l3/g7/c117/s778/list/p1/Sound_Dampening-Computer_Case_Silencing-AcoustiPack-Page1.html?id=ZAemvuAJ

that is the straight case stuff that you would put on the insides of case to dampen sound and it is highly regarded so the price is well worth it.

Thanks for all of the advice, it has been really, really helpful. I think I am going for the silverstone material as it does look easier to install (I am a novice builder). The Frozencpu material looks a little too difficult for me.

Thanks again :D

Does anyone know of a good aftermarket sound dampening material? I am looking for something similar to that found in the Fractal R4. Thanks :D

Australian? PC Case Gear recently got stock of 'Response' sound dampening material; comes in butyl based sound deadening (http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=22395) and foam based sound absorbing (http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=22394)

Acoustipack, without a doubt. I've tried quite a few. There's a reason others are so much cheaper. This stuff isn't just flimsy foam - it's heavy. Each sheet has a very sizeable heft to it, and that's the key. Sound is stopped above all, by mass.

Have a look on QuietPC. At least in Ireland they're the cheapest place to get it.

Just use this stuff, a lot less expensive and you can buy it at the local hardware store. its just as good, if not, better.

It do is thicker, but you can allways cut/mod it.

Dont understimate my skillsz, you might look foolish.

Unless a new case comes out between now and June, I'm getting the Corsair Obsidian or something similar, as they have sound dampening foam already.
