Euclideons Graphics? VR this time? Dam liars agen?

!! WARNING !!

Do NOT trust anything of this before we get any real demo that we can trust. it smells a lot like a big fat lie trying to get hype for this holodeck cinema stuff.

 

I can not give a ***** about VR and all this. But is Euclideon worth even talking about? I mean I don't trust this at all. And I have to point out that this is exacly the same shit they did 3years ago.... Only diffrence being that it's VR? What proof is there that it runs on anything but prerenderd poligons... What I'm intrested about here is the "Euclideons Graphics" and if it is anything but pure lies? Like it sounds like this hole video is made for someone that can't even install a hardrive into a PC.(consol players). And I can't belive any old PC can run games -..-

 

But what if this tec works with a desent PC? At some point poligons going to be obsolet? Right?? It was not long ago 2D games was ***** hard to render at 12FPS.

 

Back in 2011 it was a huge and big failure that I still not going to forgive them for. Promising the world about this amacing stuff and refuse to make a demo we can trust? But if it ends up being a reality I'm sure it's going to change allot in the world of PC and Gaming. Atleast can we see a video where Linus Media Group go to this stupid VR cinema and "ask" for a demo of some real stuff?   

 

Anyways before this Euclideon **** give us proof of a intensiv non prerenderd live demo I give this **** no face value. It sounds too good to be true got damit... But I believe they are over selling it claming more but what it can do? Maby there is some truth in it? Idk.

This isn't a consumer grade product. Its a place that you pay to use. It's not far fetched, or even anything new for that matter, so I don't quite understand your hostility and doubt towards it. It's simply a 360 room with  a bunch of projectors that display an image based on where you are standing in the room. The glasses track your head position and the wand tracks your hands. That's it.

i dont think you watched the video because that wasn't the only thing that was shown or half of what he was talking about

The only other topic of the video was the scanned graphics. Which, again, isn't anything really new. Just looks better than what we have right now. Not enough of a reason to see it as a ''lie''.

What do you mean it was a failure? I remember them going quiet, they still receive grants from the Australian government for their research.

until i see a game rendered in the way they talked about using "atoms" instead of traditional polygons with benchmarks, etc, it's pretty difficult to believe these people, if something like that was possible it would be done already that would solve a lot of problems for game developers, it would make things cheaper and you could use cheaper systems to run it so a wider audience might come in

It's really interesting what they're doing though I want to see a final groundbreaking epic demo of some sort.

What exactly are you asking for proof of then? They specifically state that their engine is a streamed service, not a real time rendered one.
