Onboard graphics beat 1060?

I built a pc without a graphics card and was using the onboard grapics.

i decided to buy a 1060,i installd it, but when i plug my display in to its HDMI port,

games That ran fine on onboard graphics now lag as hell

please help

Did you use integrated graphics of an AMD APU?

In that case, use DDU (http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html) to uninstall both drivers and install Nvidia's one again.

You should never install the drivers from the CD anyways, they're outdated.

Get them from the Nvidia website...
